Forty-seven years of experience in the management and execution of the design, fabrication, installation, maintenance and operations of multiple industries. Some of the industries served are oil & gas (onshore & offshore – upstream – midstream – downstream), data centers, power generation, filtration systems, steel fabrication, aircraft, electrical systems, and automated control systems.

Major projects have included ultra-deep subsea projects, first time subsea loop with more than one producer and production field tied in, five gas plants operating from start to completion in eight months, managed yearly budgets in excess of $300 MM, and served as technical authority and technical writer for engineering – construction – operations for the Kodiak project which was drilled and produced from the same formations as the BP Macondo well. This is just to name a few. Mr. O’Blanc has personally been involved with over 200 facilities, 3,000 plus wells, and thousands of miles of pipelines. Worked with major corporations to provide advice and management of projects.
Mr. O’Blanc’s education is from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Industrial Technology, the Cleveland Institute of Electronics in Electronics Technology, and numerous course certificates and specialty training.
James Dorman has over 35 years of experience, in roles of increasing responsibility, from Geoscientist, Team Leader and Project Manager working with both major and start up energy companies specializing in drilling and production operations, exploration evaluation, new venture license acquisition and asset development. He worked for Chevron as an Exploration and Operations Geologist throughout North and South America and Africa. During the majority of the 1990’s Mr. Dorman worked exclusively on numerous Onshore and Offshore blocks in the Angolan Congo and Kwanza Basins as well as working on several of the Angola Deep Water Bid Rounds.
He left Chevron in 2005 to join the New Ventures Staff at El Paso as Technical Geoscientist and the Brazil Subsurface Team Leader responsible for the acquisition of new or additional acreage in Africa and Latin America and Ongoing field appraisal and development opportunities in Brazil.
In 2007 Mr. Dorman left El Paso to become the founder and President of KD Resources, an independent operating in the domestic US and was responsible for the purchase of several producing fields in the onshore region of the Texas Gulf Coast, which were to be developed using 3D seismic interpretation and infield drilling to increase production. He led the daily operations and production of KDR.
In 2010 Mr. Dorman moved back to Angola to work on the Angola LNG Project, as a Geoscientist and Appraisal Team Leader, leading a 10, person team on the appraisal and development of several large nonassociated gas fields in the Congo Basin. Since 2013 Mr., Dorman has been working in the Deepwater Gulf of Mexico Operations as an Operations Geoscientist and a Team Leader. His leadership in Geosciences, and practical operational experience in seismic hazard and subsurface pore pressure analysis led to innovative multi-disciplinary risk mitigation efforts, which resulted in lower drilling and subsurface evaluation costs, and commercialization of multiple assets.
Mr. Dorman has a B. S. degree from San Diego State University and an M. S. degree in Geological Sciences from the University of South Carolina and is a Petroleum Geologist by academic and industry training. While attending San Diego State University Mr. Dorman studied the Salton Trough area.
Mr. Nichols brings 43 years of global experience focused on the design, operation and optimization of gas production and processing plants. During his career, he has provided comprehensive engineering, operations, economic, decision analysis, commercial, strategic planning, business development and management expertise on many of Chevron' s major capital projects such as Gorgon LNG, Wheatstone LNG, Angola LNG, Kitimat LNG, Tengiz, and a myriad of smaller capital projects.
Mr. Nichols joined Texaco Global Gas and Power Group in 1999, and worked on a number of gas and oil, and gas- to-liquids projects, including the Angola LNG project, where he served as Decision Analysis and Economics Manager for the project with responsibility for decision analysis, economics, project execution and cost planning. Mr. Nichols work with the facilities and commercial teams, resulted in the creation of the overall facilities design, as well as a special fiscal arrangement that enabled commercial development of the Angola LNG project.
From 1991 to 1998 Mr. Nichols worked as Texaco' s Joint Plants Operations Manager managing all aspects of approximately 100 gas plant interests for Texaco, including operations, budgeting and strategic planning, project development and implementation, reservoir engineering and management, business development, commercial negotiations, audit, and litigation management for the design and implementation of gas facilities for Texaco' s operations in the Permian, Mid-Continent, Rockies, and U.S. West Coast.
After retiring from Chevron in late 2003, Dale was sought out by General Motors/ Delphi to advise on profit improvement initiatives for their catalytic converter plants. Over the following two years Dale was the leading contributor, delivering concept to implementation of 17 projects that impacted bottom line profit improvement from optimization of the catalytic converter production process.
Dale holds BSc. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tulsa, Oklahoma
Vernon has over 37 years of Oil & Gas professional experience with a strong emphasis on management, supply chain and facilities construction in the USA and Africa. During his successful career, he has held roles inclusive of President of Compact Manifolds International Inc, a company that he founded specializing in the design, engineering and construction of production manifold systems and specialty valves. The company received the supplier of the year award from the Gulf South minority Development Council in 1997 and was one of the most rapidly growing manifold companies in the industry under his leadership.
He also served as President of Green’s Oilfield Specialties, Inc. where he managed procurement of multi-million, dollar equipment contracts and participated in the construction and installation of multiple offshore platforms.
Vernon has a strong entrepreneurial spirit and excellent business management skills as evidenced in his success representing global suppliers such as Cameron Iron Works and National Oilwell Varco with large equipment package sales to major oil companies and national oil companies internationally, including West Africa.
He holds a BS degree in Industrial Technology from Alcorn State University located in Lorman, Mississippi. He also attained a Minority Business Certification from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth University.
Troy has over 45 years of Operations and Quality Management in the oil & gas industry. His experience level has allowed for application of his knowledge to other industries. He has managed construction projects and day to day business. He has strong business skills.
During his career, he has held multiple positions in Operations, Construction, and Quality Management on multiple world class projects for BP America. Some of the projects were Na Kika (semi-submersible), Thunderhorse (semi-submersible), and Plutonio (FPSO).
During the construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases he performed system completion checks and managed the close out documentation. He also was the technical writer for many of the operational procedures.
Managed the operational training of domestic and international employees, lead the development of operational philosophies, policies, procedures, reporting, production accounting reporting, regulatory and compliance, maintenance, and daily accounting. Performs due diligence on existing assets.
His vast experience in operations provides for a highly desirable team member. His training and experience allows him to apply his skillset to operations beyond the oil & gas industry.
